From start to finish "Houdini" has always been handled by Andrew Connolly (Conadrew GSDs), for four years they have been a formidable team. To Andrew we owe so much gratitude and thanks.

On the 4th June 2006, almost three years to the day after winning his crowning CC he won his 16th CC at Southern Counties under Eva Oster from Israel, this being the fourth consecutive year that he had won the CC at this show. The time had come for "Harry" to hang up his show lead and retire gracefully from the showring while on a winning streak. It's never an easy decision to retire a dog, especially while they are still winning but we hope that people will remember him long into the future and always carry the image of him in his prime.

"Harry" shares his life with his great mate Ch.Lararth Odyssey, together they have both enjoyed some exceptional moments in the showring and now we hope they will both grow very old gracefully together.

To own a dog like "Houdini" has been the greatest dream come true, to have bred him gives us both an exceptional amount of pride and satisfaction - he is an extraordinary dog, a wonderful companion and a fantastic showman who has never failed to give us anything less than a 110% performance - he is a truly special dog, one in a million.
